Role

You will be crucial in helping students on their path to studying in the UK as a Senior Counselor for the UK. Among your responsibilities will be:

• Provide comprehensive counselling to students regarding study opportunities in the UK.
• Assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations to recommend appropriate educational pathways.
• Offer guidance on university selection, course selection, and application procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UK universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
• Liaise with admissions officers and faculty members to stay updated on admission requirements, program offerings, and scholarship opportunities.
• Coordinate in events like university visits, information sessions, and seminars to facilitate direct interaction between students and representatives from UK institutions.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, including counseling sessions, application progress, and outcomes.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional activities to attract prospective students interested in studying in the UK using your expertise and knowledge.
• Stay side by side of developments in the UK education sector, including changes in admission policies, visa regulations, and academic trends.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance counselling skills and knowledge of UK higher education.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (a master's degree is preferable) in teaching, counseling, or a similar field.
• Proven expertise in educational counseling, preferably in international student recruiting or study abroad consulting.
• In-depth understanding of the UK educational system, including universities, courses, and admissions procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect with students from various backgrounds.
• Excellent organization abilities and attention to detail.
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
